Hello! I am Mary Jane M. Bateo, a student at the University of Santo Tomas, pursuing a Bachelor of Secondary Education with a major in English.

In this blog, I want to share my journey as a pre-service teacher teaching English as a foreign language and how it differs from teaching in an ESL class. Being a language teacher urged me to join this program to utilize my skills with the pedagogy I have learned so far and to explore the endless possibilities of innovating teaching methods and strategies for an improved student learning experience.
